Refugee Garden Art Program

At RGAP, volunteers and U.N. refugees come together as a community to garden, practice language, create art projects and share culture.

We meet every Wednesday from 8-11am at the Iskashitaa garden, 3736 E. 2nd St, on the property of St. Marks Presbyterian Church

We ask you to please fill out a volunteer waiver prior to volunteering

*1st Wednesdays of the month: Afro-Caribbean drum circle 9:30AM-10:30AM*

*3rd Wednesdays of the month: Body Mind Art Storytelling Workshop with UofA Professor Aurelia Mouzet. Body Mind Art is a workshop that combines physical training, body expression, improv theatre, and meditation, allowing participants to experience a collective multisensory experience where creativity meets well-being.9:30am-10:30am
